I’m having the most trubble in finding a string that is cheap,common,easy to find,and will work. I need something that is strong enough to hold at least 100lbs of pressure. So if anyone can offer any advice I would gladly appriciate it.

Take your bow to an archery shop and have them make a string for it. Strings are not that expensive. Using the wrong thing can result in a broken string and possibly a broken bow. You don’t want to put all of that work into making a bow only to have it broken by a faulty bow string.
